Sketchbook v2 is a new VST instrument plugin for windows and mac, designed for creative melodic sound layering. it has 6 sampler instruments that allow you to blend and explore 103 unique sounds, all handmade and recorded by me. With its simple and minimal interface, you can quickly shape magical, ethereal sounds with just a few clicks. In theory there are millions of possible unique combinations, so getting awesome sounds for any genre of music is fast & easy! main features: 1. 103 instruments to choose from; pianos, synths, basses, pluck synths, lyre harps, guitars, pads, reverb layers, and more all handmade / sampled / recorded by me 2. 6 sampler layers allows you to mix and blend a huge combination of sounds 3. fun octave and transpose controls can give your sound a unique sampled/lofi/remixed vibe 4. low pass / high pass control 5. velocity control for midi dynamics 6. 101 presets / preset saving 7. new randomize button to randomize instrument layers, since there's over a billion possible combinations (crazy) i've been using it a LOT (almost every new upcoming song of mine uses it) in combination with some reverb (my free Ethereal Verb v2 for example) and OTT, and the results are really magical and ethereal Note: most of these sampler instruments are available for free on my website as individual decent sampler virtual instruments, but the sketchbook plugin combines them all together, making writing and sound design WAY faster than loading and layering individual instruments, but i want people to be able to use these tools regardless of budget, as i feel music making should be getting easier, more affordable and less gate-kept for everyone!
