Plan Before You Hit Record

Folder by category. Include a README with mic/synth notes if that is part of brand story—not novels.

Demo and QC

Build a short demo arrangement from the one-shots only. Master the demo, not the raw hits, per pack-demo loudness practice.

QC: click at starts? inconsistent levels within a category? mislabeled keys? duplicate files?

Checksum and inventory the zip like any other kit SKU.

Business Notes

One-shot packs often convert when they solve a niche (short traps hats, Foley footsteps, detuned bells). Generic “1000 one-shots” dumps race to the bottom on price.

License terms must forbid reselling the one-shots as competing packs while allowing use inside musical works—standard royalty-free language, reviewed for your jurisdiction.
