Compression and output stages
Gluon delivers complete bus processing without activation keys or locked features. It includes several practical workflow additions for studio mixing:
- Gluon Map enables simultaneous control over multiple loaded instances.
- MakeUp Learn automatically calculates and sets fixed level compensation.
- An independent output stage features selectable hard clipper, soft clipper, or limiter modes.
- Internal oversampling is supported up to 8x for high-resolution processing.
System requirements and formats
nClear Audio Gluon runs across desktop operating systems in 64-bit environments:
- macOS 12 or later: Apple Silicon and Intel systems running VST3, AU, or CLAP hosts.
- Windows 10 and Windows 11 (x64): VST3 or CLAP in a compatible DAW.
- Linux x64: VST3, LV2 and CLAP, built against an Ubuntu 24.04 baseline; DAW compatibility is experimental.
Host compatibility on Linux remains experimental, and a compatible digital audio workstation is required to operate the plugin.
