Amon Drum and Sean "Tricky" Dixon of the Analog Players Society recorded deep pocket breaks inspired by drummers like James Gadson and the samples used by acts such as DJ Premier, DJ Shadow, The Bomb Squad, and Pete Rock. Then they added raw piano loops and electric baselines, plus The Bridge Studio's secret analog synth, making these sounds truly one-of-a-kind. Many sounds in this pack were layered with analog FX and tape delays, recreating elements of classic 1970s soul music influenced by the likes of James Brown.
