Producing & Mixing Vol. 1 includes over 6 hours of in-depth training that begins with an interview with the artist and then takes you along for the ride of a full radio-ready release. From a rough song idea through to a complete production and then on to a finished mix & master, you'll discover what it takes to create, edit, mix, and master your own productions in the digital age. SONGWRITING The song has come to us incomplete. We'll be writing lyrics, reviewing the melodies and perfecting the arrangement before ever hit record. DRUM PROGRAMMING Follow along as I show my process for programming drums and adding percussive layers. Also, we'll be producing beat production elements so you'll get to see both sides of the rhythm production process. ARRANGEMENT Learn to record instruments so that they compliment each other while serving the song. Not just how, but why. We're going to push the boundaries with this arrangement. WORKING WITH MUSICIANS Learn how to select the right musicians for the job. We'll be interviewing each of the hired pros so we can break down their recording process and get inside their heads about the parts they contribute.
