The versatile drummer known for his swag, approach, style and influence, Daru Jones is currently the musical director for Pete Rock & The Soul Brothers live band also a member of supergroup, DMD The Band featuring Jones, guitar wunderkind Marcus Machado, and legendary Living Colour bassist, Doug Wimbish. In addition, Daru has performed with some of hip hop's most sophisticated acts including Slum Village (J Dilla), Nas, Talib Kweli and Black Milk also rock royalty Jack White. This sample pack includes live drum patterns from a Jones collaboration performance and recording with artist and percussionist/xylosynth, Galaxe (Nick Werth).
