'Data Pollen', the Curiosity Shop member's airy new sample collection, uses custom-built software to create high tech drum hits, serene synth melodies, and watery, yet clear sound effects ready for pop and rap production with a sharp, crystalline edge. "In this pack I wanted to include usable, song-ready sounds that toe the line of experimental and conventional," sv1 tells us. "Many of the FX and drums are cut from my latest album 'health', and were generated using custom low level tools I wrote in Max MSP. I wanted to try and recreate a lot of the classic rap sounds that you find in almost every kit shared around the internet, that way I'd be able to put my own twist on them at the source."
