Grid Based Beats Morpheus Drums [WAV]

This pack contains 177 drum samples made from the legendary Morpheus Z-Plane Synthesizer. Released in 1993, this synthesizer used Z-Plane synthesis and filters to morph between sounds. These 14-pole filters modeled resonant sound characteristics that when applied to drums, created very unique and clean sounding percussion. To create this pack, the Morpheus was routed through a Focusrite 2802 preamp and lightly compressed using a Manley Vari-Mu compressor and recorded into the DAW using a Black Lion Sparrow A/D converter. Extremely light EQ was the finishing touch. The samples in this pack are labeled by percussion type and/or type of filter.
