Microtonic is a VST/AU plug-in for Windows and Mac featuring a unique drum and percussion synthesizer combined with a pattern based drum-machine engine. You can use Microtonic as a sound module to play drum sounds from your MIDI keyboard or sequencer, or you can use the built-in pattern engine to play drum patterns in sync with your sequencer. The sound of Microtonic is 100% synthetic and rendered in real-time. No samples or pre-rendered waveforms are used. MERRY XMAS from bikini witches! These plugins had very long time in the R2R-internal-vault. We've waited long time for the new Sonic Charge plugins. The time has finally come! @Crackers, have fun checking how we safely made the plugins regged :) Releases by other people in 2023, does not pass integrity checks (self checksum validation), or does not break trial limitation (3 weeks patch limit), or not compatible with other plugins registration (even with legit registration). More information is available below : Spoiler ████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████ Before we are going to show Sonic Charge's protection, you should know about the difference between "strong" protection and "tricky" protection. Strong : WrapWarden (iLok), MetaFortress, VMProtect, Themida, Ax/IxProtector (CodeMeter), ARXAN Tricky : Sonic Charge, U-he, Xfer, (You know there are many others!) [Strong] protection requires deep knowledge of cryptography, CPU architecture, or executable file format (EXE/DLL). [Strong] protection cannot be cracked by changing few bytes from original. Crackers may need to decrypt, emulate, hook, rebuild datas to claim the win. This process can require good coding skill to complete the job in human time. Most commercial protectors are classified as this [Strong] protection. [Tricky] protection does not have those [Strong] ways. However, they have many tricks to avoid being cracked 100%, by delaying the extra check in many ways. While good crackers should have ideas to find those tricks easier, there are no solid ways to find all tricks. It is not difficult to pass the extra check once after the cracker found it. The problem is always how to find it. * Acustica Audio should be weak [Strong] protection * In the real world, cracker who doesn't make an effort to learn for the [Strong] protection, tends to not making an effort to find extra checks in [Tricky] protection :( Sonic Charge Protection ----------------------- There are 3 types of the protection inside. * Trial expiration check Trial is available for 3 weeks. It doesn't just mean you can't run the plugin after 3 weeks. You cannot load patch made over 3 weeks ago. Lazy trial reset does not solve 3-weeks-preset problem. * Registration check It verifies license using MD5 Hash. Bitspeek, Echobode, Permut8, Synplant have only core license check. Microtonic3 has extra registration checks in many places. Some functions have double checks (2nd check will be triggered after 3 weeks). We can say Microtonic3 is way more protected than others. Some checks in Microtonic3 are not simple true/false check. It should be difficult for the crackers who cannot make valid license. * Integrity check There are some self-integrity-checks to detect file modification. There are lots of checks in many places. Shorter than you expected? Because it's easy to say "checks in many places". So, are these working this time? -------------------------------- No one (except the developer) can guarantee the perfection for those [Tricky] protection. Anyway, we reversed how the registration and integrity check work, and we carefully chose the way to registrate the license. No bypassing in our work. Program code flow is working as it is. DLL file is untouched (bye bye integrity check!). Hope our magic works :)
