Producers Erick Bardales, Niko Oroc (from Oasis Music Library), and Sy (Masego's producer) all got together in Splice Studios LA to live out a dream. Splice Originals: Midnight Visions was inspired by being in the same room where Marvin Gaye did his magic. For a twist, they created darker, more aggressive Rand;B songs and envisioned Gaye singing over them. To achieve this sound, they used gear like the Moog Subsequent 37, Mellotron Mini, Prophet REV 2, Arturia V Collection, Taylor acoustic guitar, Chase Bliss Blooper, Chase Bliss Generation Loss MK2, Chase Bliss Warped Vinyl, and the Hologram Microcosm.
