Brazilian Guitar traverses the rich spectrum of traditional and modern styles of Brazilian music through the playing of Brazilian guitarist Marcel Camargo. Breathing new life into Bossa Nova, Tropicália and Bolero while honoring vintage tone that crate diggers around the world search for, these samples are rich with rhythmic and harmonic vocabulary. Played almost entirely solo on the guitar or the cavaquinho, the loops included are ready to be the beginning or final ingredient of new tracks. The pack was produced and performed for Sonic Collective by Marcel Camargo, who's been featured on major releases, feature films and television shows (with Sergio Mendes, Michael Bublé, Herb Alpert, Gretchen Parlato, Chrissie Hynde, among others). Marcel uses a 7-string guitar and a 5-string cavaquinho custom made for him by Brazilian luthier João Batista as well as a 6-string José Ramirez from the 1980's. 215 Samples
