Hauptwerk Classic
The organ of the Evangelical Church of Z├╢blitz
(now a district of Marienberg in the German federal state of Saxony, until December 30, 2012 it was an independent city).
Built by the famous organ builder Gottfried Silbermann in 1742.
In 1997 the organ was restored by R├╝hle Orgelbau (Moritzburg).
During the restoration the original paintwork of the organ façade was restored.
The organ has 20 registers, 2 manuals and a pedal. The range of the manuals is 4 octaves (48 keys)*, the pedal keyboard 2 octaves (24 keys)*.
The organ was recorded and published as a sample library for Hauptwerk by Prospectum in 2013.
*The C-sharp key in the lowest (major) octave is missing on both manuals and the pedal keyboard.
When creating the virtual organ, this key was added artificially using samples of neighboring pipes retuned to the desired tone.
