FM synthesis is notoriously difficult to program - complex, technical, and often unintuitive. Halogen FM changes that. (For those that don't know, "AppID" is inconsequential to the workings of the plugin. It is simply and only and Windows identifier so Windows knows how to handle upgrade installs well - depending on how the install compiler was coded, too. When you see "Same AppID" - it means that it will tell Windows that it is the same program that you installed last time. Also, when you see that, it is a sort of guarantee that "clean install" in not necessary - negating any "funk" that might have gone unnoticed because of that - which is extremely rare, so you can take it at face value almost 100% of the time.
