Inspired by synesthesia and "lowercase music"––the practice of magnifying microscopic sounds––tipton weaves a a hyper textural web of tones and zones. Shimmering FM synthesis and creaturely percussion converge across interlocking rhythms to hypnotic, brain-tickling delight. Chopped and scrambled vocal blips flit across the stereo field and ultrasonic mics and hydrophones capture field recordings, expanding the environment to the underwater domain.
