Samplestate is proud to present the 9th Volume of the Little Helpers series produced by the exceptionally talented producer Marc Faenger. The D├╝sseldorf-based DJ and producer gained early attention with releases on Little Helpers, MINUS, Trapez and others which instantly got picked up by some of the key figures of the international DJ scene such as Richie Hawtin, Marco Carola, Visionquest, Magda, Robert Dietz, Yaya, Davide Squillace, Steve Lawler, tINI, Shlomi Aber, Gel Abril and many more. Marc┬┤s DJ-sets mirror the timbre of his productions: Organically evolving trips between contemporary house and techno that have seen him play events and clubs like ENTER Miami, ENTER.Ibiza, Fuse Brussels, Watergate, Weekend, Sysiphos, Ipse, Cavo Paradiso, Nordstern Basel, Tomorrowland, Fabric London, Tini SoundGarden and more. Little Helpers is a conceptual digital label courtesy of Andrew Rasse (a.k.a. Butane) and Sean O'Neal (a.k.a.Someone Else) launched in December 2009. Each release on Little Helpers is a strong, reduced groove-tool aimed to satisfy the increasing number of digital DJs. Much like the traditional locked groove vinyl, these tracks are suitable for looping, editing and layering. Yet at the same time, each track has enough variation to stand on its own. That is, each tune, lies somewhere between a full track and a DJ tool -- focusing solely on the rhythm or a singular idea rather than extraneous arrangements. This new series of sample product takes this concept into new territory and offered is an inspiring pack jam packed with the essential building blocks for Minimal, Tech, Techno and Deep productions.
