Drumdrops presents the Godfathers of Soul, a beautifully recorded compilation of 270 funky soul grooves with tempos ranging from 60-130bpm. Taking influence from all of the classic Apollo Theater artists from James Brown to Wilson Pickett to Aretha Franklin these loops will give your tracks that authentic secret sauce swing. We enlisted the incredibly talented drummer George Cook for this pack, he's played for, amongst many others, The Japanese House, Collard and Calum Scott. He has recorded on albums for Eminem, Birdy, Marika Hackman, Jamie N Commons, X Ambassadors, Bruno Major and Rag N Bone Man. The pack was lovingly recorded at Ben Hillier's Agricultural Audio Studios in Lewes, UK by engineer Dan Crook who has worked with Nadine Shah, Gang of Four and Josh T Pearson.
