Splice Sessions Afro Drill [WAV]

Splice Sessions is excited to present another release in partnership with producer ISS 814 (Ismaila Talla), who worked on Dakar Trap and Afro Trap with us. All of the foundational elements of this pack are inspired by African music. You'll hear several African instruments throughout the collection of samples including the djembe and balafon, as well as many rhythms from West African countries like Nigeria, Senegal, Gambia, Mauritania, and Burkina Faso. ISS 814 said, "You can hear the mbalax rhythm in a lot of drill music. Tapping into this connection has allowed me to reconnect with my African roots and has given me another way to interpret drill music. I hope this pack will inspire you to do the same!"
