The Life in Love Pack pays homage to and is inspired by the innovative sounds and songs of gospel music pioneer Fred Hammond. Originating from Detroit Michigan Hammond was a bassist for legendary gospel group "The Winans" and then later on became one of the original members of famed gospel group "Commissioned." His solo career blossomed after in the early 2000's with his group "Radical For Christ" bringing so many of the popular Rand;B, soul, funk and dance sounds of the day to gospel music. With this pack we sought to bring some of those sounds Fred Hammond was known for with contemporary Rand;B vocal harmonies, smooth chord progressions and the icing on the cake, a horn trio! This pack was orchestrated by award winning producer Dana Sorey at CBazz studios featuring highly decorated musicians and producers: Richard "Tubbs" Smith on keys, Morgan Turner on bass, Antwann Easton on guitar, Curtis Jones, Theljon Allen, Will Spence on horns and Sound Doctrine's very own Pudge Tribbett on drums. Artist Ron King Jr. and his ensemble added original lyrics and soulful vocal arrangements to these loops as well!
