There's a timeless magic to the sound of tape - a warmth, depth, and natural cohesion that digital often struggles to replicate. For volume 2 of "Live To Tape", we captured a collection of mid-tempo grooves ranging from 95 to 105 BPM, all tracked live to tape at Milkboy Studios in Philadelphia using their legendary Studer A827 24-track machine. Behind the kit is GRAMMY-winning drummer Leonard "Pudge" Tribbett, delivering tight, soulful rhythms with a rich, slightly saturated tone that gives the loops a cohesive, tape-glued feel. Each loop has been broken down into its isolated components - including drums, claps, and percussion - along with full mixed versions and a set of one-shot drum and percussion samples.
