Dawesome Myth 1.81 Update Adds 13 New Effects Processors
Dawesome has released the Myth 1.81 update, a free software expansion that brings 13 new effects processors and 57 factory presets to the machine-learning resynthesis synthesizer. Existing registered users can download the installer immediately through their Tracktion user account. The modular instrument specializes in transforming custom audio samples into expressive, organic sound design elements.
What Is New in Myth 1.81?
The primary focus of this Dawesome Myth update is a substantial expansion of the internal modular effects rack. Version 1.81 integrates 13 new processor modules directly into the sound-shaping pipeline:
- Dynamics: Maximizer, Limiter, Compressor, and Gate
- Movement and Modulation: Auto Pan, Pulse Gate, and Mal-Sync
- Time and Space: Dual Delay, Reverse Delay, and Plate Reverb
- Tone Shaping: Split EQ, Tape emulation, and Brute saturation
Alongside the effects modules, the update delivers 57 brand-new presets crafted to demonstrate the extended processing options. Workflow has also been tweaked, replacing the legacy quick-access preset panel with a cleaner, dedicated preset browser dialog.
Machine-Learning Resynthesis Engine
Rather than relying on classic subtractive or wavetable oscillators, Dawesome Myth utilizes machine-learning audio decomposition to break input samples down into organic harmonic components. Sound sources appear visually as dual interactive irises, allowing sound designers to manipulate timbre, harmonic spread, and spectral movement in real time. With the newly integrated dynamics and saturation processors, producers can build complete, mix-ready sounds entirely inside the plugin.
System Requirements and Pricing
Dawesome Myth runs on macOS 10.15 or newer (native Apple Silicon and Intel) and Windows 10/11 in 64-bit VST3 and AU formats.
