Perfect Soup: Free Headphone Calibration Plugin by Umami Audio
Umami Audio is offering Personal Soup, the core edition of the Perfect Soup headphone calibration plugin, as a free download for anyone who registers an account on their site. The promotional signup period remains active through January 31, 2027, giving producers an easy way to achieve an accurate listening environment on headphones.
Accurate Monitoring Without Expensive Upgrades
Mixing and mastering on headphones frequently leads to unbalanced low end and deceptive high frequencies due to physical driver limitations. The Perfect Soup headphone calibration plugin addresses this problem by applying targeted corrective EQ profiles designed to counteract the natural colorations of your monitoring setup.
Personal Soup serves as the streamlined loader for these calibration profiles, delivering a flat target curve that translates reliably to studio monitors and consumer playback systems. The interface lets you quickly apply tailored frequency correction to eliminate harsh peaks and hollow mids before you print a mixdown.
