Idakka is a South Indian Percussion instrument. It is in a shape of an hour glass. It is similar to a Damaru. Idakka is played with a stick. The instrument itself is small, and creates a hight pitch. Unlike other percussion instruments this instrument is not tuned to a particular pitch.
