Drums From The Basement is a collection of 267 original drum one shots and loops/breaks. Raw and gritty underground textures is what we aimed for when creating this kit. Two rooms and a hallway of an abandoned basement made up the environment and acoustic space for recording. The structure and shape of each room played a part in capturing the natural reverb and tones. Background ambience and miscellaneous sounds such as ceiling drips made their way into the recordings giving unique added details. Analog saturation through tape played its part by adding color and warmth to each sample.
