YANOS, a sample pack inspired by the deep grooves and contagious energy of Amapiano. From essential log bass and shuffled percussion to progressive synth pads and hypnotic songstarters. Evolving synth stabs and mellow chords drift above foundations of deep kicks, bouncy log drum basslines and organic percussion. Subtle keys, guitar and piano chords weave around the patient rhythms. Originated in South Africa in the late 2010s Amapiano is a fusion of house music and kwaito incorporating traditional South African sounds and instrumentation, such as the marabi and gqom, alongside contemporary electronic music and progressive house motifs.
