DIVA - Dinosaur Impersonating Virtual Analogue Synthesizer. The oscillators, filters and envelopes closely model components found in some of the great monophonic and polyphonic synthesizers of yesteryear. Modules can be mixed and matched so you can build hybrids, but what sets DIVA apart is the sheer authenticity of the analogue sound. This comes at the cost of quite a high CPU-hit, but we think it was worth it: Diva is the first native software synth that applies methods from industrial circuit simulators (e.g. PSpice) in realtime. The behaviour of zero-delay-feedback filters when pushed to the limit clearly demonstrates the advantages of this groundbreaking approach. authentic, unrivaled analogue sound up to 40% less CPU-hit than version 1.0 multithreading support for modern CPUs - more polyphony, less overload even bigger library of gorgeously organic presets resizable editor window, alternative skins available shortly the essence of 7 or 8 vintage synths for about 1% of the cost ...and so much more! improvements: Completely rewritten VST3 implementation New 'move to trash' option in preset browser Windows - GUI performance improvements GUI - undo/redo arrows improved for better visibility Pitch Bend range now +-48 Pressure now reacts to MIDI parameter smoothing preference Changelog: Diva 1.4.8 (revision 16519) MPE Update Improvements: Supports the latest macOS versions (Sonoma/Sequoia) MPE support for polyphonic presets MPE tag added to preset browser Key control (experimental feature) Added 50% & 60% GUI scaling options VST2 > VST3 migration support for hosts using the IPluginCompatibility interface CLAP: improved note expression support for mono and legato presets Linux install-script improvements Twitter link replaced with Mastodon in u-he menu Fixed Bugs: Fixed: performance bottleneck on AMD CPUs Fixed: AAX could crash Pro Tools during plugin scan Fixed: Studio One 6.6 randomly freezing during project load Fixed: registration dialogue was broken on some Linux systems Fixed: VST3 automation parameters displaying nonsensical units in Ableton Live Fixed: VST3 producing stuck notes in Digital Performer Fixed: VST3 crashes in Digital Performer related to plugin GUI Fixed: VST3 tuning off by half a note in Digital Performer if arpeggiator active Fixed: sustain pedal held just one note of a chord if MPE was active in Bitwig Fixed: Dialogues could appear behind plugin GUI in Cubase (Windows only) Fixed: Windows UI scaling was messing with dialogue positioning Known Issues: Key control feature is not fully supported on Linux yet.
