Glitch music has its origins in the 90s, with producers like Oval who experimented with skipping CDs, but its roots can be traced to musique concrète's mid-century tape music techniques. On Glitch Tapestries, original samples sourced from guitar, strings, piano and modular synth performances are re-synthesized and scrambled into new, rhythmelodic forms. In addition to traditional loops and one shots, the pack contains freeform phrases which function over any tempo or meter.
