"Some plugins are available as ARM-only because iLok-protected ones need to be unpacked from WrapWarden, the first layer of PACE protection. This unpacking process is architecture-specific, unlike with regular plugins, and creating a proper U2B release requires both ARM and Intel machines. Wibu-protected plugins may also require similar treatment. While we used to support both architectures, we no longer have access to Intel machines and have fully transitioned to ARM. This is not out of disregard for Intel users, but simply due to practical limitations. We would support both if we could. In this case, the developer did not bother to provide a universal (U2B) build, even though combining Intel and ARM binaries is easy. We will simply not do it until the developer does. Even legit users are affected, as they cannot use Rosetta due to the installer being split by architecture."
