Percussive Fuel For the Chase Intensity. Force. Motion. Tension. RUN! is a virtual instrument that conveys this imagery with fast-paced, flexible and forward-leaning drum and percussion sounds. Designed for composers writing for action-oriented media (movies, games, streaming), RUN!'s library of loops and samples has an easy-to-understand layout that can be approached in a number of ways: Access large banks of sounds segmented by percussive category, like: Timekeepers, Electronic, Natural Small, Natural Large, Melodics and Kicks & Low Add Ins. Or, use one of the many "Sound Palette" presets featuring a mixture of these sounds, pre-arranged and ready to score a cue. RUN! utilizes a wider-than-usual variety of instruments and sound design. The aim: to help composers match on-screen action with quick-changing combinations of texture and rhythm. Other composer-friendly considerations include: - Loops can be used at virtually any tempo with no artificial stretching or sound degradation. - Loops have been tuned, with pitches notated for each part. - 350+ playable sample sets featuring round-robin and/or multi-velocity samples. Composers also get control over the sound of every loop and sample in a preset: adjust Volume, Pan, Stereo Width, Pitch, EQ, Delay, Reverb and more, with controls automatically showing for the last played part. For composers who value diverse and unexpected sound combinations when scoring action scenes, RUN! fills a unique space among other "cinematic" drum tools. The Drum Dilemma Acoustic drums can often sound too plain. Electronic drums can be "not natural enough". And "sound designed" audio needs context. The Trio Combined When combined in a purposeful way, acoustic and electronic drums with sound designed elements can convey a uniquely stylized percussive atmosphere. Banks are organized "just right" with percussive categories: Timekeepers, Electronic, Natural Small, Natural Large, Melodics and Kicks & Low Add Ins. Control Over Every Loop With independent mix chains for every loaded part, it's possible to have unique settings for every loop and sample (e.g., Volume, Pan, Stereo Width, Tune, EQ, Delay & Reverb and more). No need to click around: the interface always displays the mix controls for the last played or selected part. Tempo Flexibility Use any loop at a wide range of tempos without artificial stretching or unwanted audio artifacts. Combine parts from anywhere in the instrument without worrying about tempos. Triplet Expansion The Triplet Expansion doubles the amount of presets from 32 to 64. The additional presets access a version of the core material that has been adapted to have a Triplet feel.
