From crushing power to the finest detail, drums in modern and progressive metal require a full spectrum of sound. For this EZX, we've teamed up with Jay Postones of TesseracT to deliver just that - and more. Featuring three unique kits, each carefully curated to deliver its own unique sound, it offers a wide palette of powerful drum parts. All kits were recorded in the Back Stage Studios room in Nashville by engineer Steve Blackmon. The room, reflective enough to give the drums a sing-song sound, yet dense enough to prevent natural reverb from drowning out detail, was the perfect choice to realize the overall concept of this EZX: brutally dark, powerful, and energetic, yet clearly articulate and dynamic drums for modern progressive metal.
