We've carefully recorded and multisampled an exceptional selection of vintage and modern bass guitars including classics such as the Fender Precision (60s & 70s models), Fender Jazz, Gibson EB-03 and Rickenbacker 4001, as well as modern basses like the Schecter Stiletto Studio 5 and the Fodera Monarch 6, with 52 custom patches to give you a huge range of very flexible and realistic-sounding bass guitar tones. The demo below is made from a selection of the patch previews found inside the expansion: Each patch has been optimised for minimal memory usage with 'round robins' to give a realistic variance in timbre and tone when performing; simply load up a patch and instantly start sequencing your own unique and realistic electric bass guitar riffs using your pads or an attached controller. The 1.5 update for Electric Bass now uses 'Sample Chains' ensuring virtually instantaneous loading for all instruments, making this the fastest and most comprehensive electric bass collection available for all modern MPCs and Akai Force. The expansion comes with two separate installers; a dedicated version for standalone use in the MPC X, MPC Live, MPC One / One+, MPC Key and Akai Force and a separate MPC Software Expansion installer for use in the Expansion Browser.
